The anchoring of water sports obstacles has so far been very complex. Most of the time, the wakepark buys a plastic container, places an anchor iron in the center of the container, and fills the container with concrete. The concrete needs to harden and dry. After drying, a heavy concrete block stands on land and has to be lifted into a boat or onto a floating pontoon with manpower. With the respective water vehicle, the anchor is moved into the desired position and thrown into the water. When sinking to the bottom of the water, the anchor slides arbitrarily in any direction. Most of the time, the anchor has to be lifted again from the bottom of the water in order to position it perfectly. Bad only if the anchor is 200 kg or more. Up to now, water anchors for WakePark features have been an ordeal for cableways employees and are very cumbersome to handle and manufacture.
